Final week in Toronto! Early morning flight on Friday, February 6 to Orlando! Ready for warmer weather.
This week will be relatively chill for Cal and I. We'll have Final Runs for only two of our shows (that's all they have time for), and then we'll pop into other Final Runs to watch. We were able to see the Rockin Pirate show that we are a part of the other day and it's awesome!
As some of you know, besides rehearsals and social activities, my time has been spent trying to figure out why my sleep and digestion have been so incredibly off this month. It may be hormonal. It may be my gut. Or a combo? Not fun, but we're surviving. Recently, I completely cut out alcohol, and just started cutting down my food intake and eating nearly only whole foods. Hopefully that will help!
Recently:
I saw the movie Hamnet at TIFFs Lightroom theatre. TIFF stands for Toronto International Film Festival. I liked it. Biggest takeaway was how art can act as a vessel to heal.
Cast outting to Rockn Horse Saloon.
Puppy Yoga with some cast members. Adorable. Followed by lunch at a french cafe, La Gourmand. Videos below.
My first NHL game! Maple Leaf tickets are pricey here in Toronto and games here book up! We snagged some standing room only tickets for about $50 US. Not bad!
Got my hair cut! Pixie cut! She is short and so cute!
Went to Second City Improv with Cal and two of the bandmates. Katherine O'Hara started this club back in the day. Pre-show they gave her a sweet tribute, and then they made us LAUGH hard. Great show.
We had our Disney Traditions class where we received our official Mickey ears and name tags. Unfortuantely, the class was...disappointing. But at least our Greeter Training that first week served the purpose of magic. (Fun fact! Chip n Dale are not brothers! They are best friends!)
We are allowed to take photos in the front entry way of the rehearsal space, so I took two to show ya. See below.
Disney Song Inspiration Post #7: Disney Vacation theme song - "Where We Belong" - my roommate, Angelica, her friend, Vee, is the voice singing!
