TORONTO
is a very cool city. Would love to visit when it's warmer.
Pictures below of our lovely little group that had a celebratory last night dinner up in the CN Tower.
Here is what our final Toronto rehearsal schedule looked like (do not share. duh):

FLORIDA

Written on Thursday, Feb. 6:
I get to go to Disney for freeeeee, plus bring 3 guests. However, the guest passes won't be utilized on this contract. I have to be with a guest in order for them to use their pass and since we're stationed in Fort Lauderdale, I will not be near the parks. But it's a fun thought!
I will use my Main Entrance pass this Friday at EPCOT.
Friday morning: Our flight is at 6:10am (that's a 3:10am van pick up....woof). We land in Orlando around 9:15am. We've reserved our park passes for EPCOT. The next day, Saturday, we go into trainings until 5pm, then we can jump into a park in the evening. (This did not happen, I just stayed at the hotel and had dinner with some of the cast that night.)
Sunday, we head to more training then hop on a bus for Fort Lauderdale. We'll stay the night there, then early Monday morning we board the ship!
Once on the ship we'll be in training meetings, shadowing our respective roles, and rehearsing. We stay in guest cabins until our rooms become available in two weeks when the current casts disembarks and we move into their rooms.
Angelica and I will share a room on the ship for those two weeks, then we'll move into our own rooms with our own bathrooms. Quite a luxury as a cast member. Or, as we are called on the ship, a crew member.
EPCOT
THE SHIP!
Hello! Crazy first week sailing on the ship. Crazy but good overall.
Navigating the backstage areas has been the most frustrating. There is little signage (we think due to security) and to a newbie all the hallways and stairwells look similar. Metal and white. It feels like working on a space station. Especially as you pass some of the crew whose "costumes" (aka uniforms) are white jump suits that look like space suits.
The main pathway for the crew from the forward of the ship to the aft (back) is called "I-95." Don't repeat that.
Something special about taking a crew elevator and the doors open and Loki and Stitch hop in.
On board our days are filled with trainings, rehearsals, naps, and meal breaks. The Mess Hall (aka crew cafeteria) is pretty good food. Once we are out of crossover the performers have the privilege eating in some of the guest areas as long as space is available.
We get 8 hours of free internet a week. You can buy more after that. We are currently at our home port in Fort Lauderdale and while here the internet doesn't count towards our 8hr/week. I didn't have time to get off the ship today but I will in the future.
